Study Says Love Lasts Long Term!

According to a new survey to be published in the March issue of the Review of General Psychology, researchers found that romance remains long term in many relationships.

By examining surveys of more than 6,000 people, including some in newly-formed pairs and many in marriages of more than 20 years, researchers found that a surprisingly high number of people were still very much in love with their long-term partners.

Researchers did draw a distinction between romantic love, which can endure, and passionate or obsessive love, which often fades after the beginning of a relationship.

What’s the secret? The research shows it is old fashion hard work.

Are You “Ecosexual”?

Do you bring your own canvas bags to the supermarket?
How about eat organic more than you eat out?
You could be “ecosexual”!

PlanetGreen.com defines an “ecosexual” as someone who is “green” both in and out of the bedroom and wants their partner to be too. So, if you want your dates to be as sweet to your planet as you are to your sweetheart, check out these tips:

  • Pick a place close to home, grab your honey’s hand and take a stroll. This doesn't leave a carbon-footprint or contribute to air pollution and it’s more personal time you get to spend with your date.

  • Make the environment part of your date! Relax at your local park, have a picnic for two or just sit in your backyard. Who knows...all that fresh air may lead to some fresh and frisky fun after your date too!

  • Recreate a restaurant quality meal in your home! Make a unique dinner together featuring yummy, organic recipes . Switch off the lights and use organic soy candles for a romantic vibe.

  • Skip the store-bought bouquets and buy some from a local nursery, or better yet pick your own!
