Lovebirds Katy Perry and Russell Brand celebrated their month old engagment with a bash with family and friends. The two met last September at the VMAs and have been on the fast track ever since, according to MTV.com.

Laugh A Lot, Love A Lot

How often does your honey make you laugh?

A lot? Then he or she might be saving your life too!

The Oklahoma reported this week, to no surprise, that laughter has been found, again, to be the best medicine.


According to a study by cardiologists at the University of Maryland Medical Center, laughter and an active sense of humor can help protect you against a heart attack. The study also found that people with heart disease were 40 percent less likely to laugh than people of the same age without heart disease. Check out the article.

US Department of Love and Relationships?

The Washington Post reports this week that Dr. Ruth Westheimer will be sworn in as Washington's "honorary secretary of the "Department of Love and Relationships". She will apparently "show off the playful side of the nation's capital and boost the local hospitality business." The city has taken a lesson from President Obama and the First Lady in making time for love.

Leap Year Romance

Does the newest Amy Adams romantic comedy, Leap Year send your heart leaping for joy and romance?


Providence Journal's arts writer Michael Janusonis seems to think it does what it needs to do, however Chicago Daily Herald says it's a no-go. Have you seen it? What do you think?

Extreme Romance!

Well, Haisong Jiang, the man now accused for busting pass security at Newark's airport last week says it his love for his girlfriend that made him do it, as he was just trying to say goodbye. His actions caused an airport-wide freeze on traffic due to the security breach.
